Alideberg
Alideberg is a great choice if you want a peaceful place to live while still staying close to both campus and the city centre. The neighbourhood is surrounded by green areas, perfect for walks, runs, or studying outdoors on sunny days. And whenever you want a change of scenery, the Knalleland shopping district and Borås Zoo are just a few minutes away.

City centre – Bifrost
If you want to live in the middle of everything, the city centre is the perfect fit. Here, cafés, restaurants, shops, gyms, cultural venues, and Stadsparken are all right outside your door. It’s the easiest place to enjoy student life without worrying about transportation, since everything you need is within a short walk.

Norrby
In Norrby, you have the best of both worlds: close to the city centre and close to everything you need for everyday life. The area is known for its multicultural character, with grocery stores and small restaurants offering food and flavours from different parts of the world. It’s a great choice if you enjoy a lively, international atmosphere and want practical living with short distances. And with only a few minutes to the city centre, cafés, shops, and student activities are always nearby.

Hässleholmen
Hässleholmen offers a mix of nature, community, and convenience. It’s a multicultural neighbourhood where people from many different countries live side by side,. With parks and the large outdoor recreation area Kypegården nearby, it’s ideal if you enjoy hiking, exercising, or swimming. Around the local square you’ll find a supermarket, a pizzeria, and everyday services. Getting to the University or the city centre is easy, whether you prefer to cycle, take the bus, or go for a slightly longer walk.
In this area, you rent furnished rooms and apartments. Larger items of furniture such as a bed, dining table, chairs, and desk are included.

City centre – Simonsland
If you want to live right at the heart of student life, Simonsland is the place to be. This is where you’ll find the University of Borås, the Swedish School of Textiles, and the Textile Museum, all in a lively and inspiring area full of creativity. Located between the city centre and the Knalleland shopping district, it gives you easy access to supermarkets, gyms, culture, and student events.
