Board and management team

The board

The board members of our company are appointed by the municipal council of Borås Stad. The appointments go to the municipality's different political parties, and the number of representatives from each party is based on its size in the municipal council. Board members serve for one term of office and can change in connection with general elections. The board's remit is strategic: it is responsible for setting goals, making sure the company follows laws and regulations, and monitoring and evaluating the work of the operational management.

Management team

Our management team is made up of our CEO and the most senior managers from each department. The management's job is to run the day-to-day business of the company in line with the guidelines set by the board. That covers everything from financial management and property management to customer service and staff matters. The CEO answers directly to the board and must make sure the company is run in line with the board's decisions and the owner directives from Borås Stad.
