Focus: Our homes
Feeling at home matters, and most of those who answered the survey are happy where they live, but they want better cleaning, more safety and good relations with their neighbours.
Feeling at home in your own home can seem obvious. Even though a large majority say they are happy where they live, there is always more to do. The survey gave us several clues about where to put our energy first.
What have we done so far?
- Renovated every laundry room on stora Distansgatan.
- Restored the stairwells to their original condition across the whole of Hässleholmen, with help from youth groups, our staff and Brokyrkan. We cleaned floors, walls and ceilings in every stairwell.
- Introduced new cleaning routines - we have increased cleaning to every week instead of every other week, and we are careful to note anything that is not as it should be.
- Replaced windows, renovated the facade, fitted new entrance doors and replaced the roof on our properties at Våglängdsgatan 11-17 and 27-33.
- Replaced windows, renovated the facade, fitted new entrance doors, replaced the roof and updated our ventilation system at Kapplandsgatan 14-18.
- Repainted the basement across the whole of upper Våglängdsgatan.
- Repainted the basement at Våglängdsgatan 27-33 and 43-49.
