Bostäder i Borås is now launching its first "Piffl" cabinet, a new concept that lets residents borrow equipment for different sports and games. The cabinet is the first of its kind in Borås and will be placed by the housing company's multi-arena in Hässleholmen. It is easy to use with BankID and is meant to make sport and play more accessible to everyone in the area.

- By introducing Piffl here in Borås we want to make sport and play accessible to everyone, says Genc Avdiu, acting head of area development at Bostäder i Borås. It is not just about borrowing equipment, but also about creating meeting places where people can get together and have fun.

Piffl makes it easy for residents to take part in different activities and events, which can build a stronger sense of community and more activity in the area. Sharing equipment also reduces the need to buy new, which is good for the environment.

Bostäder i Borås hopes the initiative will inspire more organisations to follow suit and create similar schemes that improve everyday life in Borås and encourage an active free time. With Piffl the company wants to give its tenants new ways to be active and build stronger ties with their neighbours.

Everyone in Borås is welcome to the multi-arena in Hässleholmen to try the new service.
