On Saturday 7 June, Bostäder i Borås is holding a full day of street football and community on Hässle torg. Interest is greater than ever this year, with 30 teams entered in this year's tournament.

- It is wonderful to see how many people want to take part. This shows that Hässleholmen has a strong commitment and that the square is an important meeting place for the area, says Myhedin Salihu, area developer at Bostäder i Borås.

The tournament is part of the work Bostäder i Borås does to create security, participation and life between the buildings. During the day, matches are played in teams of four, where participants of all ages meet in fast-paced, relaxed games.

Besides the football, the day offers food, drink, music and activities for children and adults alike, all with a focus on strengthening the sense of community in the area.

- We believe in the power of meeting people and of meaningful activities. It creates belonging and strengthens the whole area, says Myhedin Salihu.

The street football tournament takes place between 10am and 9pm on 7 June and is open to players, spectators and curious visitors alike.
