This summer, Bostäder i Borås, RO-Gruppen and Navet science center are once again inviting creative children with an interest in technology to Byggkollo. This year's camp runs over four days and offers an inspiring summer holiday activity filled with robot building, programming and creating. The focus is on sparking curiosity about technology, encouraging innovation and supporting the problem solvers of the future.

- We want to give children the chance to discover what technology can do by creating things themselves, says Tobias Minin, project manager at Navet science center. It is about trying things out, solving problems and having fun at the same time.

On two occasions during the summer, children born in 2014–2016 can take part in the camp. During the week, the participants build and programme their own robots using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime.

Byggkollo is a day camp held at Navet science center, where technology exercises alternate with creative projects and outings. Everything is led by experienced teachers. At the end of the week, family and friends are invited to a robot exhibition where the children show off their own creations.

- As a housing company we want to help develop society, says Sophia Jonsson, head of marketing and communications at Bostäder i Borås. Through Byggkollo we want to inspire children to explore technology and discover the joy of building and creating, something that matters for the sustainable societies of the future.

Byggkollo is a popular day camp in Borås for children who are curious about technology, robotics and programming. The camp is arranged jointly by Bostäder i Borås, RO-Gruppen and Navet science center. There are 16 places each week, and you sign up at navet.com/byggkollo
