Enjoy free concerts and activities. Sommartorsdagarna® 2025 starts on 3 July and ends on 24 July. Over four weeks, wonderful artists and DJs will make Stora torget vibrate. In Stadsparken there will be dance bands for everyone who wants to dance. And for the children there will be antics, music and mischief. A real Borås tradition offering music and a street party.
🏸 7. Borrow sports and leisure gear free of charge at Fritidsbanken
Try something new - perhaps a frisbee, a football or a board game? Fritidsbanken lends out equipment free of charge, perfect for lazy summer days.

🦆 8. Feed the ducks in Ramnaparken
Bring some seeds (avoid bread, as it is hard for birds to digest) and visit Ramnaparken with the children to feed the ducks. Cosy and simple. Take the chance to go for a stroll around lovely Ramnaparken. Read more about Ramnaparken here.
🎣 9. Try your luck at fishing
There is plenty of good fishing in Borås and the Sjuhärad area. There is a unique chance to fish in the city centre all year round, and it is free. Bring your rod and try your luck.
See where you can fish free of charge and read more about the rules that apply.
🌳 10. Explore Rya Åsar - discover Rävstigen for children
Rya Åsar is a wonderful nature experience close to town. For the youngest there is Rävstigen, an 800 metre discovery trail with play stations along the way. Here children get to know Rya Räv and her friends and try fun activities linked to outdoor life. Read more here.
