Changes to broadband and telephony
From 30 November, the copper network in Sweden will be shut down.
That means broadband and fixed telephony that use the copper network will no longer work. The copper network is being removed because it does not meet today's requirements for security and capacity.
What do you need to do?
If you use broadband or fixed telephony over the copper network, you have probably already had information from your operator.
Have you not had any information? Then, to be on the safe side, you can contact your operator to make sure you have the services you need after 30 November.
The copper network will be replaced by faster and more secure solutions for broadband and telephony.
