What is not a fault?
Some things in your apartment are yours to put right. That covers, for example, changing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes, or clearing the drain when it is blocked.
In our instruction videos we show how you can easily solve the problems yourself. You will find the films a little further down this page.
Do not report these as faults:
- Water in the fridge.
- A blocked drain you have not cleared yourself.
- Broken light bulbs and fluorescent tubes in your apartment.
- An apartment with no electricity - check the fuse.
- Neighbours causing a disturbance.
Blocked drain
Start by clearing the drain yourself. Drains need clearing now and then. If it still does not get better, you can report it as a fault in Boendeappen.
Please note
If we find that the blockage is because you have not cleared the drain, you will have to pay the cost.

If the neighbours are drilling into the wall or having a party late at night, that is not a fault but a disturbance. You can then report a disturbance.
