Your apartment

We want you to enjoy your apartment and the building where you live. That is why we look after the property and the outdoor areas, carry out maintenance and make repairs. Together we help create a home and a living environment that is safe and pleasant.

Look after your apartment

You are responsible for looking after your apartment. Cleaning regularly usually goes a long way.

You must also report a fault if something is broken in your apartment or in the building's shared spaces. You can do that easily in Boendeappen.

Care about your neighbours

Do you suspect that a neighbour is being subjected to violence or threats?

  • Call the police (112). Always contact the police first if the situation feels urgent or threatening. It is better to call once too often than once too seldom.
  • Ring your neighbour's doorbell and ask how they are. Ask another neighbour to come with you if you think that is needed.
  • Make a report to the social services if a child is involved.

Be considerate

When you live in an apartment, your neighbours are close by. Be considerate and keep the noise down so that you do not disturb others. After 10 pm it should be extra calm and quiet. You are also responsible for making sure your guests do not disturb others, in the apartment, the stairwell and the yard.

If someone disturbs their neighbours, the following applies:

  • We contact the person causing the disturbance when we receive a disturbance report.
  • You may have to pay 875 kronor if the disturbance leads to a call-out.
  • Repeated disturbances can lead to you losing your lease agreement.

Keep shared spaces tidy

Stairwells, bicycle rooms, waste rooms and laundry rooms are spaces you share with your neighbours. Help keep them clean and free of things that do not belong there.

You may not store prams, bicycles, shoes, doormats or other objects in the stairwell. This matters for fire safety and so that everyone can get out quickly if a fire starts. Basement corridors and other escape routes must also be kept clear.

The laundry room

You share the laundry room with your neighbours. Book your laundry time on the booking board by the laundry room and only do your laundry during your booked time. Leave the laundry room clean and tidy for the next person.

Questions and answers

Can I order a washing machine and/or a dishwasher?

It depends on your apartment. An installer needs to check first whether it is possible to install a washing machine or dishwasher in your home.

If you want to order an optional extra, make a fault report in Boendeappen. Write in the text box which machine you want. Optional extras, such as a dishwasher, always mean your rent goes up.

Do I have to be quiet after 22.00?

Yes, but you must not disturb your neighbours during the day either. Read more about what counts as a disturbance.
